Win95B anomoly
Half of the people in another newnsgroup couldn't get it up either.....most were using Internet Explorer and one was using Opera. When I start IE7 from the icon or from the Start/Run dialog, it appears to start as a child of the Explorer shell and the Norton Toolbar always appears fine. If I start IE7 through a shortcut (eg favorites), it starts through svchost (DCOM Server process launcher) and it works fine the first time after logging in.

My user account has been removed from every MSN Explorer Welcome screen and these machines are all WinXP SP2 and have never had a problem with MSN 9.5. When I open NT Explorer, select Task manager, and manually run a task (File/Run) two entries are temporarily (usually temp...) added under "My Computer" while the task is running. Both entries are identified as W: drives and selecting either of them returns a stop box with the text "W:\ is not accessible.

Let me guess: you are using Internet Explorer. Internet Explorer has a serious bug that causes it not to store anything if a no-cache header is sent, not even if it calls another program to display the contents. So it calls acrobat with data that IE refuses to pass. So acrobat starts with data that is not there.
