98 Explorer V6 SOHC Engine Problem
My wife's system has Windows ME with Internet Explorer 6.0.26 and accesses the Internet via attbi.com as her ISP. She has always been able to browse most Internet sites, especially www.marthastewart.com. About 4 days ago she suddenly couldn't access www.marthastewart.com but all other sites were OK.

I find it humourous that I can upload my home pages to Demon, but can't download things such as Internet Explorer from Demon. I know we've been around this, but the new POP3 server (and the other services mentioned above) show up the FTP service as an anomoly. Any chance of a re-think on this?

System Security Phenomenon?
Strangely, one anomoly occurred, immediately, in IE 5. If I view an HTML page that contains GIF images, the images display, if the HTML file and the images are on the WWW. But if the HTML and GIF images are on my local hard drive, where I develop them, the GIF images do not display in IE 5.

One applicattion gives me access to reading and writing keywords to a file's property but explorer desktop does not. However, the property sheet does. I find that strange. I expect Windows Explorer to give me the most global access to my files from both within Desktop and the Property Sheet. Seems like an anomoly

Access to FTP server from non-demon nets
Hi, I noticed that if I open an Explorer shell, then close it - my task list (CTL-ALT-DEL) now lists 2 Explorers. If I open another Explorer shell, one of the Explorer shells takes the name of the directory I'm in. When I close it, it reverts back to Explorer. So I always have 2 Explorer's in the task list.

Delorme 3D Explorer
If it bugs you, you can delete the number in the SAVE AS entry or in the Explorer after the file is downloaded. The reason is that from ftp sites, Windows cannot determine the endpoint in the file until it is fully there (notice that you rarely if ever get a progress bar during downloads from ftp sites).

Right click anomoly
You will not see them using Windows Explorer but if you do a Find/Files or folders you will find them. Try searching for files beginning with CA and no extension that are 0 bytes in the TIF folder.
